The Care of Our Dogs

All of us here at aAprina Labradoodles have a great love and affection for these dogs. We started with the intention of just having a family pet and became so enamored with these precious beings that we had to have many more and invite others to share in the joy that these dogs bring.

We have raised many breeds of dogs in the past and each have had there own special way of being. The Labradoodle encompasses the best characteristics, ALL in one amazing package.

We breed only multi-generation Labradoodles (almost all of our breeding dogs. are imported from Australia) to provide the greatest assurance of consistency in health, coat, look and temperament.

Each of our Labradoodles are treated as members of our family. We take great care in providing attention and socialization to each of our dogs. Each day we spend time playing and caring for them and give every dog individualized attention.

Since we live on 250+ acres our dogs have a huge area to run and play. We take them on walks to the river and waterfalls and they are exposed to children, horses, cats and other farm animals.

Every day our dogs run free in their huge play yard where they have many toys and interesting ways to express their creativity and intelligence. This gives them time to learn social skills with each other as well as experience unlimited ways to express themselves.

At night their sleeping areas are heated and they have piped in soft and soothing music that supports them feeling safe and sleeping deeply. They have quite the varied music experience. You might even get them to suggest a few pieces to you (:

Every dog is fed the best organic food and raw meat to support their growth and well-being. All of our breeding stock is x-rayed for dysplasia and eyes checked for degenerative disease yearly.
